TITUSVILLE, Fla. - A mother and her two children who were kidnapped at gunpoint Tuesday night  in Titusville have been found safe, and the man accused of abducting them is behind bars in Volusia County, according to police.

Law enforcement officials said the mother, Melanie Martin, 30, and her two children, Angel Burson, 5, and Lloyd Burson Jr., 3, were found safe Wednesday morning, which resulted in the cancellation of an Amber Alert previously issued for the children.

Titusville police said Lloyd Burson, 35, abducted the family around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of the 1000 block of Third Avenue.

Titusville police said Martin and the children were last seen in a blue SUV driven by Burson headed north on I-95 toward Volusia County. Hours later, after 4 a.m., Daytona Beach police said they responded to a home on Forest Street, where they located Burson, Martin and the children.
