Arrest made after man run over, killed in Daytona Beach

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Police have made an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run that happened two months ago in Daytona Beach.

Michael Edmonds was arrested Thursday night in connection with Christopher Farmer's death.

Investigators said surveillance video shows Edmonds deliberately running over Farmer following a fight near Seabreeze Boulevard.

Detectives were able to match paint on the victim's clothing to Edmonds' red convertible.

Edmonds has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held in the Volusia County Jail.
