Attorneys for man convicted of shooting Danielle Sampson, 15, argue incompetence

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The man convicted of shooting an innocent teenager in Orange County is expected back in court Wednesday in a fight to stay out of prison.

Attorneys for Tyrone Mosby argue he's not competent for sentencing.

Last month, he was convicted in a 2012 shooting in Pine Hills that left 15-year-old Danielle Sampson with severe brain damage.

She was riding in her family's minivan when she was hit by a stray bullet.
