Bank of America to close 2 Orlando branches

Bank of America in the new year will close a pair of Orlando area branches.

The Charlotte, North Carolina-based bank (NYSE: BAC) will close on March 8, 2022 locations at 3094 Orlando Drive in Sanford and 555 S. Hunt Club Boulevard in Apopka.

Both branches had been closed temporarily since the second-quarter of 2020 due to the pandemic and had not reopened since, spokesman Matthew Daily told the Orlando Business Journal.

“We’re constantly looking at trends, foot traffic at branches, the increase in digital and mobile banking, as well as proximity to other branches,” Daily said.
