BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Brevard County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man accused of using a note to rob a Barefoot Bay bank.
Investigators said Dennis Leo Foster entered the First United Bank just before noon Friday, passed a note to the teller that implied he had a weapon and demanded cash.
He then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
A Brevard County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit tracked the suspect to a nearby vacant home, where deputies found a piece of clothing they said belonged to Foster.
Deputies were able to identify Forster through the bank's surveillance footage.
A bank teller and four acquaintances of Foster were able to verify the identification.
