Beachline reopens after deadly toll plaza crash

ORLANDO, Fla. — Police have reopened the westbound lanes of the Beachline at the airport toll plaza following a crash that left one person dead Sunday morning.

The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the Beachline at the toll plaza near Orlando International Airport.

One person was killed and five people were injured in the crash, according to police. Investigators said three vehicles were involved, including a pickup truck that rolled over.

The crash caused major traffic delays and the highway was shut down for about 5 hours.

Officials said the crash was just before the toll booth entrances and it did not damage the structure of the plaza.

Orlando police are investigating the cause of the crash.
