Bill Clinton speaking at pharmacy convention in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Former President Bill Clinton is serving as the keynote speaker during a convention of community pharmacists in central Florida.

Clinton is scheduled to address the National Community Pharmacists Association annual meeting Monday at Disney World's Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando.

The NCPA represents more than 23,000 pharmacy owners, including franchises and regional chains that are responsible for producing about half of the nation's retail prescription medications.

Clinton's Health Access Initiative, which is part of the foundation he started after leaving office, helps more than 5 million people living with HIV and AIDS to access medication.
