Boil water notice lifted for Mount Dora

MOUNT DORA, Fla. — Hundreds of Mount Dora residents are now able to drink their tap water without having to boil it first.

A water-main break on Sunday forced officials to issue a boil water notice to several neighborhoods on the east side of the city.

On Wednesday afternoon city officials lifted that boil water notice.

Crews filled the hole on Lincoln Avenue Monday morning. They said a reclaimed water line ruptured, which caused another line to break.
