ORLANDO, Fla. — A man was detained Monday evening after a bomb threat closed a busy Orlando intersection.
Around 8 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Orange Avenue and Central Avenue in reference to a bomb threat.

Officers located a man on the scene who made statements about a bomb in his vehicle. He was detained and Orlando Fire Department’s Bomb Squad responded.

Officers contacted the same man on Sunday on three separate occasion, police said. Out of an abundance of caution, areas of concern are being cleared.

An all-clear was given around 11:15 p.m., and there is no threat to the community.
