PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. — Some boaters are safe on dry ground Saturday, after getting rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard.
U.S. Coast Guard officials shared photos of the rescue Saturday afternoon.
Crews responded to the sailboat earlier Saturday after it started taking on water, about 27 miles southeast of Port Canaveral.
Officials said the vessel had safety equipment on board that aided in their rescue including a VHF-FM radio, emergency positioning radio beacon, life raft, life jackets and flares.
The crew took the four boaters to Cape Marina and said no one was hurt.
