COVID-19 cases on the rise in Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — COVID-19 numbers in Brevard County and around the state are on the rise again.

Between June 16 and July 2, 2,166 cases were reported to the Florida Department of Health.

“We had as low as 200,000 and something in June in a given week,” said Don Walker, Brevard County director of communications. “The problem here is people aren’t getting the message that if you haven’t been vaccinated you need to get vaccinated.”
