TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Police said a man was shot and killed Sunday evening in Titusville.

Officers are working to find the gunman responsible.

Investigators said the victim was found lying on the road near the intersection of Tropic Street and Dummitt Avenue around 6:15 p.m.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he died, police said.

Officers said evidence shows the shooting was not random.

Titusville police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call 321-264-7800.
