ULA places hold on rocket launch from Space Coast

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — The United Launch Alliance will attempt to launch a rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Monday afternoon.

The company is scheduled to launch an Atlas V rocket carrying surveillance satellites for the U.S. Space Force.

Liftoff was set for 1:42 p.m. but an unplanned hold was inserted into the countdown while teams examine an issue getting chill down completed for the liquid oxygen system.

Crews said the weather is 90% favorable for launch.
