Woman asks for help to find mother’s ashes

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — A Titusville woman is asking the community for help in locating her mother’s ashes.

Early Thursday morning, April Rathburn posted on Facebook a picture of a cross that contains her mother’s ashes.

According to the post, the cross was stolen out if her brother’s truck on Crest Drive in Titusville sometime Tuesday night. The post said the cross contains the ashes of April’s mother who died a few months ago.

To make matters worse, according to April, today would have been her mother’s 62nd birthday.

April is asking anyone who may have information to contact her via Facebook or please drop the cross into the mail box of the house where it was taken.
