Christmas decorations stolen from 5 Deltona homes, deputies say

The holiday spirit can be felt on almost every street in Deltona, with wreaths on the outside of several homes and inflatable snowmen that come alive at night.
But Volusia County deputies said someone decided to be a Scrooge and steal projectors from five different homes.
Two of the homes are on Tunisia Drive and another two are less than a half mile away on Alcan Avenue.
The fifth home was seven miles away on Arbour Court.
Six projectors, which were about $30 each, were stolen.
Neighbors said one of the victims had just moved into the neighborhood.
“For her to get up and see her lights gone is ridiculous. I know she is feeling violated,” said resident Jobe Samuel.
Deputies believe the thefts were done by the same person or people, but don’t have any leads.
