Craigslist seller robbed of iPhone by armed buyer at Hooters

CASSELBERRY, Fla. — A Craigslist seller was robbed at a Hooters restaurant while he was trying to sell his iPhone 5, Casselberry police said Friday.

Police said the intended buyer had a gun, stole the phone, and then got away in a stolen car.

However, police said they spotted him in a construction zone on SR-436 and Red Bug Lake Road and pursued him.

Police said the man ditched his car and then made a run for it, but was stunned with a Taser.

The man, whose name was not released, was arrested.
