VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — One westbound lane of Interstate 4 was closed near Daytona Beach Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said a log fell onto the interstate and two vehicles struck it near mile marker 127.
According to troopers, a log was being loaded onto a truck along I-4 when the log fell and partially blocked the outside lane of the interstate.
Troopers said a truck and a passenger vehicle struck the log.
The accident sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries, troopers said.
The accident scene was cleared by 11:30 a.m.
