Crash involving 4 patrol cars in Rockledge injures woman, troopers say

ROCKLEDGE, Fla. — A woman was taken to the hospital Friday night after state troopers said she drove out in front of a Brevard County deputy, causing a crash involving four patrol cars.

The crash occurred around 6 p.m. in the area of Seminole Drive and Longwood Avenue.

The woman's SUV flipped as a result of the crash.

When police were responding, a few patrol cars had a minor crash as well.

One officer crashed into the back of another, and a third officer hit the second deputy’s cruiser.

A Rockledge police officer reported having minor injuries from that crash.
