• Crash knocks out power, creates traffic woes in Orlando

    ORLANDO, Fla. - A crash has knocked out power to some residents and businesses in Orlando and is creating traffic problems.
     
    Police said the accident happened at Orange Blossom Trail and Anderson Street.
     
    According to police a truck was attempting to make a turn and struck a power pole causing damage and the power outages.
     
    Southbound Orange Blossom Trail is closed between South Street and S.R. 408. Anderson Street is closed between Orange Blossom Trail and Rio Grande Avenue.
     
    Orlando Utilities Commission reported that 695 residences and businesses are without power.
