Credit card skimmers found on ATMs in Polk Co.

POLK COUNTY, Fla. — The Polk County Sheriff's Office is warning residents about skimming devices recently found on ATMs.

Investigators said they found skimming devices at two Publix ATMs in Bartow and Mulberry and at two MIDFLORIDA Credit Union ATMs in Bartow in Haines City.

Skimming devices are used to steal people's debit and credit card information.

Deputies are trying to identify the person of interest from surveillance photos.
