FHP investigates deadly motorcycle crash in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that happened in Orange County Sunday morning.

According to troopers, 66-year-old driver Margaret Mccullough was attempting to make a left turn onto Curry Ford Road from Pinebranch Drive. That's when a motorcyclist heading eastbound on Curry Ford Road collided with the side of her Hyundai.

FHP closed Curry Ford Road between Goldenrod Road and Chickasaw Trail for several hours following the crash. The road has since reopened.

Emergency crews pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene. He has been identified as 20-year-old Jeremy Workman.

Troopers said they believe Workman was traveling over the posted speed limit. The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
