DCF finds AK-47, other guns inside home while checking on children

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — The Department of Children and Families said it found several guns, including an AK-47, inside a Marion County home when it went to check on two children.

Deputies they confiscated the weapons and $800 cash.

Authorities said the children were living with Eric Westman and Jessica Price.

It was not released whether the two are the children's parents.

DCF said the children were placed with family members.
