Dead dolphin found on Ormond Beach

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — Another dead dolphin has washed up on a Volusia County beach.

Volusia County Beach Patrol found the 7-foot dolphin on Ormond Beach on Tuesday night.

It's the ninth dead dolphin that WFTV has reported washing up on the beaches of the east central Florida coast in the last month.

Biologists believe that the morbillivirus is to blame for the deaths.
