Deltona man arrested on child pornography charges

DELTONA, Fla. — A Volusia County man is facing child porn charges Friday because investigators said they found hundreds of images on his computer.

State agents raided Harold Price's Deltona home Friday morning.

Investigators said they found several hundred images in his Roland Drive home, but they believe there could be more.

"Mr. Price has been under investigation for some time -- he's an individual we've been watching for several months for downloading child pornography," said Special Agent Jeff Duncan with Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Investigators say they also found pictures of kids wearing clothing, and they're trying to determine where they were taken and if the suspect was producing his own child porn.

"So I would say, usually when we see images, you know two, three, four, 500 of them -- you can usually double or triple that by the time we're done with forensics," Duncan said.

Investigators said most of the images were of kids between the ages of 6 and 12.

Price is being held at the Volusia County Jail.

No one answered at Price's home Friday.

Price's neighbors said they are in a state of shock.

"I'm shocked, and I don't know what to say, especially since the guy was so nice," said neighbor Roman Larionov.
