• Deputies: Armed men rob Orange County hair salon, customers

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Two armed suspects robbed a hair salon and all of its customers on Orange Blossom Trail Saturday evening, according to deputies.

Workers at Herson's Hair Salon spent Sunday morning cleaning up after the brazen robbery that happened around 5 p.m. Saturday.

The salon's owner, Herson Juste, told WFTV his business was packed with customers when the two men showed up armed with a gun. He said the suspects even fired the weapon once into the ceiling.

"My wife was screaming, the girls were screaming," Juste said.

There were about 10 people at the salon at the time of the robbery. Juste said the six customers and four workers were ordered to the ground and robbed.

The robbers got away with thousands in cash and valuables, according to investigators.

"They were there for 30 minutes searching, pulling drawers and everything," Juste said.

The employees are now working with detectives to come up with composites sketches of the men. Juste said he's a business man whose now been robbed twice since moving to Orlando 20 years ago and he's fortunate no one was hurt.

"People inside thought they were going to die. Yes everyone thought they were going to die," Juste said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
