Deputies: Granddaughter suspected in burglary ring jailed after grandmother's call

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities said a grandmother's call was the clue they needed to find suspects in a string of St. Cloud burglaries.

Jacquelene Young, Eric Chinn and Jeremy Milyon were arrested for stealing from at least 20 homes and cars, officials said.

Young's grandmother said she became suspicious when two bicycles showed up at the family home, so she tipped off sheriff's investigators.

One neighbor who had her old bicycle stolen said she was happy to see the arrests.

“That we have to do something. We do. This is a wonderful neighborhood, but you have to do something.  You have to speak up," said the neighbor, Barbara, who only gave her first name.

A sheriff's office spokeswoman told WFTV the trio might be linked to other burglaries in St. Cloud and Kissimmee.

"The complainant was the grandmother of the female suspect. She indicated she came home one afternoon. She saw bicycles," said Twis Lizasuain of the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

Milyon has been in trouble before.

WFTV found out he's the same person who was accused of starting a brawl before a hearing in a murder case last year.
