Deputies: Kissimmee woman lied about rape

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A Kissimmee woman is under arrest, accused of filing a false rape report, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Department on Friday.

According to investigators, Yorohannae Pujols-Pichardos, 23, told investigators she was coming home from work on Thursday when a man forced her into her apartment at gunpoint and sexually battered her.

Investigators said Pujols-Pichardos told them she had her 2-year-old son with her at the time and that the man indicated he would have killed her had she not had her child with her.

According to investigators, she gave a detailed description of alleged assailant, who she described as appearing homeless.

Investigators said that after further investigation they discovered that Pujols-Pichardos lied about the incident so her family wouldn't find out about a relationship she was having.

Pujols-Pichardos was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail on charges of false report to law enforcement and false official statements.
