Deputies: Orange Co. man's backpack was mobile meth lab

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies said a man's backpack doubled as a mobile meth lab.

Investigators arrested Tray Rudolph Friday.

They said Rudolph was riding his bicycle in front of a house on Pennsylvania Avenue in Winter Garden when an officer pulled him over and searched his backpack, where they said they found a meth lab.

Undercover officers and agents with Orange County Fire Rescue's special operations unit combed through the house for any more possible meth.

They said it wasn't the first time. In 2010, five people were arrested after being accused of having a meth lab in the same house.

The suspect's brother, Tobian "Toby" Rudolph, was arrested during the 2010 bust along with Tray Rudolph.

"Was your brother trying to manufacture meth?" asked Channel 9's Marisa Mendelson.

"If he was, he was doing it somewhere else and coming from (there), and the short time I got to talk to him [investigators] were wanting to know where he was coming from, and he wouldn't tell them," Toby Rudolph said.
