Deputies: Osceola man arrested, stabbed neighbor several times

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Osceola County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man accused of stabbing another man several times Tuesday evening.

According to investigators, deputies responded to reports of a disturbance at a home on Jones Lane in Kissimmee.

When they arrived, deputies found a bleeding man sitting outside a house, investigators said.

Deputies said Hector Ramos, 33, the owner of a nearby house, told them the victim was constantly coming to his home, threatening him and demanding money and drugs.

According to deputies, Ramos said when the victim refused to leave Ramos went into his house, grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim several times.

Ramos told deputies he was scared and was defending himself. Deputies said he couldn't them why he didn't call law enforcement for assistance.

The victim was taken by helicopter to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition, according to investigators.

Ramos is charged with attempted murder. He is being held in the Osceola County Jail without bond.
