Disney worker accused of distributing child porn

ORLANDO, Fla. — A Disney custodian at Fort Wilderness is accused of sharing child pornography with an undercover officer.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said 28-year-old Kentriale Barnes admitted that he's been looking at child porn for a few years and knows it's illegal.

Investigators said there is no connection to Fort Wilderness, other than the fact that it's where they arrested Barnes.

Agents said Barnes distributed three images to an undercover officer, and four images were found on a computer at his Orlando home in a gated community on Oak Ridge Road.

The FDLE said those images matched ones Barnes is accused of distributing.

Investigators said the images were of young girls together, a young girl with an adult man and a young girl with her young brother.

Barnes' girlfriend, who he met in the Disney college program two years ago, talked with Channel 9 and said she had no idea what was going on.

She asked not to be identified, but said she talked to agents the day of his arrest and told them Barnes was at work. She said the agents asked her not to tip him off that they were after him.

The FDLE said when it served the search warrant at Barnes' apartment, his girlfriend told them his laptop was next to the bed. Agents looked at it and said they found child porn on it immediately.

The girlfriend said it was when she saw Barnes' mug shot on the Orange County Jail website that everything hit her.

"Once I seen that, I did break down, you know, because that's when it reality hit me," she said. "One, he was doing things that were illegal. Two, despite of that, I realized he wasn't coming home."

Barnes is being held at the Orange County Jail on $11,500 bond.
