A man faces charges after Orlando police said he hid a camera in the restroom of a Dollar Tree store to record customers as they undressed.

A woman found the device Wednesday at the store on at 7155 Narcoossee Road, police said. She told police she showed up to the store to buy balloons for her son’s birthday, but needed to use the restroom first.

She said Aaron Krone, who is an employee at the Dollar Tree, made her wait because he said he had to get toilet paper.

The 29-year-old admitted to police that he placed a hidden cellphone in a box to record women in the restroom.

Krone told Channel 9's Jeff Deal as he walked out of jail that he's remorseful and that it's the first time he's ever done something like that.

“I don’t want to talk to nobody,” Krone told Eyewitness News. “It never happened before, sir.”

"Last thing you expect at the Dollar Tree is to use the bathroom and someone is using the camera to watch you. So, it's pretty scary,” said customer Sharon Burgos.

Police said video in the phone showed Krone set the camera up and moments later, shows the female victim get undressed.

A judge ordered Krone, who has no prior record, released on his own recognizance.

"I've been through enough. I just want to go home,” Krone said.

Krone told investigators he recorded one other customer, but erased the video.

He has been ordered to stay away from the Dollar Tree store. Krone is facing a video voyeurism charge.
