MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Marion County deputies arrested a man who they said had synthetic marijuana packaged for distribution.
According to investigators, Sheriff's deputies noticed a disturbance at a gas station on Highway 326 near Interstate 75.
While investigating the disturbance, deputies noticed the smell of marijuana coming from a vehicle.
A search of the car turned up 328 grams of synthetic marijuana, plastic baggies, scales and a marijuana pipe, deputies said.
Deputies arrested William Russell Griffin, 38, and charged him with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Griffin was booked into the Marion County Jail.
