Weaver was found dead on Old Highway 441 near Orange Blossom Trail after he was struck by a pickup truck.

Weaver's family is desperate for answers and said they want justice for whoever hit him and left him to die.

The Florida Highway Patrol said they're looking for the driver and believe that person was in a pickup truck when the crash happened.

Weaver's brother, Roderick Weaver, said they have very few answers.

“It's probably eating them up on the inside, and they're probably having a hard time dealing with it, but we're having a hard time dealing with a lot of stuff, too,” Roderick Weaver said. “Maybe it can give them peace of mind give us peace of mind and maybe we can both start the healing process. They can start theirs and we can start ours.”

FHP said Troopers have located a truck, but they haven't confirmed it's the one that struck Weaver. Troopers said it could take weeks or months to confirm.

His family said Weaver was a straight-A student attending college and was close to the people he loved.
