GROVELAND, Fla. — A fatal crash involving three vehicles shut down the Turnpike in Groveland, backing up traffic for miles Friday.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said all southbound lanes are shut down and only one lane on the northbound side is open.
The crash happened at about 2:15 p.m. near State Road 91 at mile marker 293.
Troopers said a woman was transported to Leesburg Regional Hospital, where she died.
Three other people were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
No other information has been released.
