FHP: 2 killed in crash involving group of motorcycles on I-95 in Flagler County

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Two people died after a group of motorcycles went down on Interstate 95 in Flagler County Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Trooper’s from FHP’s Gainesville office responded to mile marker 296 in Palm Coast just North of Old Kings Road for reports of a crash involving multiple motorcycles.

Troopers say a group of motorcyclists were riding together in the northbound lanes just before 10 p.m. when three of them crashed.

Two motorcyclists died at the scene, according to FHP. They haven’t been identified.

Troopers haven’t said whether any of the other riders were also injured.

I-95 was completely blocked in both directions while investigators worked to figure out what caused the crash.
