As the bus traveled north on Dividend Drive, approaching Lake Ellenor Drive, the driver did not see the man waiting and drove past him, according to FHP.

Troopers believe the man then entered the roadway and ran after the bus, attempting to stop it.

Investigators said that the right front of the bus struck the man and that the driver kept traveling eastbound on Lake Ellenor Drive, leaving the area.
