• FHP: Woman dead after being run over multiple times in Orange County

    EATONVILLE, Fla. - A woman is dead after being struck multiple times while crossing a road in northeast Orange County Saturday evening, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

    The crash occurred on Forest City Road near Faulkner Road around 7:30 p.m., troopers said. 

    Investigators said 64-year-old Orlando resident June Andre was struck by two separate vehicles while crossing the road.

    The first vehicle struck Andre and knocked her to the ground, and a second vehicle was unable to avoid the incident and ran over her, troopers said.

    Troopers said both drives were heading north on Forest City Road and stopped after the incident.

    Andre died at the scene, troopers said.

    The crash is still under investigation.
