CHRISTMAS, Fla. - Firefighters are battling a 30-acre brush fire burning in Christmas, near SR 520 and Nova Road.

Officials with Orange County Fire Rescue said the fire is contained, and they’re letting the flames burn until they reach a fence hugging SR 520.

The Florida Division of Forestry is creating fire lines, officials said.

Though there aren't any homes nearby, the Florida Highway Patrol advises drivers to use caution while driving through the area due to the noticeable smoke.
