Fla. lawmakers consider new beer law

FLORIDA — A bill allowing Florida breweries to sell bigger beers moved forward Thursday.

The state Senate Regulated Industries Committee unanimously approved the measure.

The bill would allow craft breweries to sell 64-ounce containers of beer to its customers.

The law allowed breweries to sell 32-ounce or 128-ounce containers, but 64-ounces ones was illegal.
