Florida robbery suspect shot 8 times by Georgia store clerk while fleeing police

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — A police chase that started in Flagler County came to an end when a Georgia store clerk shot the suspect eight times.

Investigators said it all started when Quinntavus Jordan robbed a gas station.

He was spotted and chased by offices through Georgia.

Deputies in Georgia used stop sticks to damage Jordan’s tires, but it did not end there.

They said he ran to a nearby gas station and demanded the clerk’s car keys.

He tried to drive away but crashed into the front door of the store.

After Jordan crashed, he got into a fight with the clerk and that’s when he was shot and taken into custody.

The Flagler County sheriff said if he survives, Jordan should spend a long time in prison.
