Following delays, NASA and SpaceX make final preparations for Crew-3 launch to ISS

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Less than 24 hours after the return of Crew-2, NASA and SpaceX are preparing to launch their next mission to the International Space Station.

European Space Agency astronaut Mattias Maurer and NASA astronauts Tom Marshburn, Raja Chari and Kayla Barron are scheduled to launch on their six-month science mission about the Space X Crew Dragon they named “Endurance” no earlier than 9:03 p.m. Wednesday.

The launch readiness review is scheduled for this evening. NASA and SpaceX will provide an update after its inclusion. But the Falcon 9 and Crew Dragon for the Crew-3 mission stand ready.

The launch is expected to draw tens of thousands of visitors to the Space Coast.
