Former officer accused of downloading child porn bonds out of jail

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A former Volusia County corrections officer arrested on charges of child pornography bonded out of jail late Thursday night.

A judge ordered Mark Pronovost, 32, to stay in his home with a GPS monitor.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents arrested him after a standoff in Orange City last month.

Pronovost resigned from the Volusia County Corrections Department.
