Grab your umbrella: Storms to bring downpours, lightning to some parts of Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — It’ll be hot with scattered afternoon storms on Tuesday.

There’s a 40% chance of storms. If you get some storms, expect downpours, lightning and a quick inch or two of rain.

Conditions will be similar on Wednesday, with a 40% chance of rain.

Later this week, we’ll get even hotter.

Our hottest weather of the year (so far) arrives Thursday and Friday, with temperatures in the low-to-mid 90s. It will be a scorcher.
