Investigators are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store clerk at gunpoint early Thursday morning.
According to Orange County sheriff's investigators, the clerk was working alone at the 7-Eleven store on Landstar Boulevard when the man, who had a black-hoodedsweatshirt over his head and a bandanna covering much of his face, walked in with a handgun and demanded money.
Investigators said the clerk handed over money and the man ran to a nearby McDonald's where he jumped into the passenger side of a waiting silver car. That car then drove north on Landstar.
Police said the description of the robber is similar to that of a gunman who robbed a Circle K store on South Orange Blossom Trail Tuesday morning.
