OCALA, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis will be making a stop in Marion County Friday morning.

The governor is set to hold a news conference in Ocala at 9:15 a.m.

DeSantis’ administration did not reveal specifics on this morning’s announcement, but said the governor will be joined by Florida Department of Children and Families Secretary Shevaun Harris and state Senate President Wilton Simpson.

The event will be held at Sam’s Club on Southwest College Road in Ocala.
