PINE HILLS, Fla. — Deputies were investigating a homicide in Orange County on Thursday after three children found their mother dead in her Pine Hills home.
Christa Hall, 30, was found by her children just before noon Thursday at a home in the 4800 block of Kathy Jo Trail, investigators said.
Deputies did not release any information on how Hall died but said they do not believe there is any threat to the public.
“At this time, it is a homicide our investigators are investigating,” Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Ingrid Tejada-Monforte said.
Hall’s children -- ages 6, 10 and 11 -- were taken into custody by the Florida Department of Children and Families.
No other information about the death was immediately released.
