Hot temperatures, scattered storms possible Friday

ORLANDO, Fla. — Friday will be another hot day in Central Florida.

Temperatures will climb into the 90s throughout the area.

There is a 30% chance of an isolated storm.

Tonight, scattered storms are possible.

In the tropics, soon-to-be-Alex is on track. There have been no changes in the storm since Monday.

The worst weather OF the system is in South Florida.

Some rain bands will get into our southern and coastal zones.

There is an isolated tornado threat for Osceola and Brevard counties.

Some streets could flood in the downpours.

Our northern zones are not expected to get much from the storm.

Sunday’s forecast looks good. There will be a few afternoon storms.

What’s left of the tropical system will race by Bermuda.
