I added my name to the WFTV Sports team roster in July of 2008 after spending the last two years in Redding, California as the weekend sports anchor at KRCR.
While in Northern California I nearly froze covering bass fishing tournaments, got thrown to the mat while rough-housing with mixed martial artists and stretched my limits in a yoga class taught by NFL running back Ricky Williams.
I grew up in southeast Idaho where my favorite sports memories include being a part of two state championships in high school football and watching one of my best friends break a 30 year old state shot put record.
After high school I initially studied chemical engineering at Tulane University in New Orleans where I exercised my voice as a beer-man for the New Orleans Saints. Even though I loved the school and the city, engineering was not my calling. So I made my way home to Idaho where I completed my bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and fell in love with my college sweetheart. Together we're thrilled to be making our home in central Florida with our two dogs, Kylie and Koda.
