Protesters are gathering at Orlando City Hall for a Labor Day demonstration.
They say they are seeking justice for Salaythis Melvin, who was shot in the back while running away from a deputy outside The Florida Mall exactly a month ago. He later died.

The deputy said he thought the 22-year-old was reaching for a gun.
The protest started at 5 p.m. and is being called a “Labor of Love” on Labor Day for Melvin.
Pro-Trump, anti-Trump rallies converge on Orlando City Hall
Protesters told Eyewitness News they won’t stop until there is justice for Melvin. They said they believe Melvin was not a threat to the deputy.
The case is still under investigation.
