CLERMONT, Fla. — Police in Central Florida are searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed a woman Saturday night.
Officers said the woman was struck by the unknown driver around 6:17 p.m. while she was walking near State Road 50 and Grand Highway.

The woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital where she died, police said.
The victim has not been identified by police.

The wanted driver was last seen headed east on SR-50 in a passenger car with front-end damage.
